Re: How can I help promote Cantr?
Since tomorrow marks the beginning of the new semester at my college, I think I'm going to make a poster with tear-off bits at the bottom that have the web address to the game on them. Assuming that I stay motivated to do this, I'll post them throughout the college, and I'll also upload the finished project here when it's finished.

This is what I have so far. Now I'm trying to figure out what should actually go on the flyer. Any ideas?

Maybe that Cantr smiley in the middle? Takes attention.

Re: How can I help promote Cantr?
I think it would be good to have a phrase that could attract people who've never played a roleplaying game or aren't necessarily looking for one. For example, I have a Cantr II t-shirt that says "Your actions make history." Someone actually took a picture of me wearing it once because they liked the phrase. Something to grab people's interest.
I do think the smiley would be good too. Something creative even with stick figures might help, but I don't know what.
Or a cool design with mostly words in large print might do even better taking into account the type of people we want to attract.
"Be a leader."
"Create a society."
"Learn a language."
"Write your own story."

I love the slogan idea! I think I'll use some of those
I would love to use the smiley, too, but it doesn't look too good blown up. Does anyone know where to get a higher res cantr smiley?

I've noticed the same problem with the smiley. I think what we need is to create a large high quality version for things like this.

It'd have to be remade. Preferably in vector. I'd be up for the task if no one else is already doing it.

Could you do it? I've only ever worked with raster-type programs. And I need that smiley!

But it's not the same!
The thickness of the line that makes up the smile is not supposed to be that consistent!
And the green of the background looks strangely bluish.
(In all seriousness, you did well. Good job. I'm just giving you a hard time because that's what I do.)
