Re: Bookcase
I like the idea, though it's kinda weird to write long text on one note, like (travel)diary.
So maybe addinational feature could be books..? Some leather, maybe little wood and (rice) paper?
It just would be just for outlook, but just suggesting.. Don't know if possible, but would look nice.

Re: Bookcase
Oh, yes, please. Please add bookcases of some sort.
They would make my character with the library so happy.

I like it, although I'm pretty sure a container can hold an infinite number of notes already.
Will they have conventional storage as well? Because I'm thinking the names should be changed to be more generic.

We could use more varied (locked) containers.

I also find it odd that something that takes effort to create has less capacity than a free envelope, although it could still be a good way to organize things.

I don't know if that is even possible to do without programming, so unless I'm wrong feel free to ignore that part of the suggestion. Besides, I doubt we'll have multiple sizes either. I agree with Kicking Jay that the names should be generic to allow storing whatever the player likes, so that more people will build them.
GreeK -- do you think it's possible to allow "read" and "copy" from a container?

If it is, please please with copying from an envelope, that would be great! And while we're at it, could the default for envelopes be that the notes have checkboxes? I still don't understand what the point of not automatically showing the checkboxes is (to select which notes to take).

Yes, it is so weird that you can't copy from an envelope. Right now you have to click to allow the checkboxes, then click the checkbox, then click the forward button, then you copy, then you put one back in the envelope. All of that could easily be done with a single click.
