I propose a split since dorkiness is not something that's recorded in the database, thus no statistics could be gathered about it.

How about the number of people who have left cantr because of something they saw in the 'characters that irritate you' thread?

I should make a list of all the people whose characters I know.
And all the characters whose players I know.
And then all the characters who I know are played the by the same person, but not the player specifically.

I think you should just worry about your avatar.

Its safer that way.

That topic has already been split before. :)

How about an update for towns with the largest populations? Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken they gave the age one time of the oldest and I believe I know who it is. (Its not any of mine). I don't think they'd ever give a name, because they don't want to tempt people to kill them off.

Is there any way to find out either or both of:
a) Who "knows" the most chars (Assigned them a name)?
b) Who is "known" by the msot people?

Old data, but might tide you over until an update is run. You can do the math to see how old the chars would be by this time:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7394&start=540

Similar disclaimer about the age of the data but will be interesting to see how the naming thing differs from back then:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7394&start=450

(also funny stats about sex on the page with the naming info)

Thanks, SumBum. But as that is now over 13 months old, time for an update :-)

The oldest character in Cantr is 172 years old but a name won't be published. The longest anyone who's currently dead lived was 141 years (not counting the 20 years pre-spawning) so that means the actually oldest ever to live are still alive.

gejyspa wrote:Is there any way to find out either or both of:

Now that naming information is no longer deleted in death, I need to make sure that only namers that are still alive get counted.

Most named (all languages, although it's a bit silly to say all languages since they're all Polish)

Code: Select all

285   Sigri
261   Antoniusz
257   Jaromir
257   Amedia
245   Grang
240   Roland Silny
234   Petronela
233   Władimir
229   Ida
226   Katien

And since namers were limited to living people, I also limited the named characters to living people as well. This wasn't done the previous time.

Code: Select all

318   Amedia
310   Sigri
284   Ida
271   Władimir Władimirowicz Popow
264   Petronela
260   Jaromir
258   Bianka Angela Vente
252   Grang
249   Antoniusz
242   Galter
242   Fezant

Surprisingly, there are 2670 chars named by id 0, I wonder if that happens every time you get the "you're not allowed to view other people's characters" error while trying to name someone.

Edit: And since I found it depressing that the top ten is all Polish, here's top 30 English named and namers just to compensate.
