That animation is kinda creepy.
Anyway, the best kind of stupid inventions are ones that have some logic behind them, like a safety pin that cannot be opened to protect people from pricking their fingers. Stuff that's completely absurd or not an invention in the first place is a poor thing to post. The best way of coming up with a stupid invention is taking an existing item and adding a function that makes it "better" by some logic but at the same time makes it useless. Like airtight air filter masks.
