Yes, much simpler... I'd just hate for people to start saying "I'm going to head in direction 287"... Its like saying exactly how much you're holding.

Gee, look at the first post, the image is split in parts according to the lines. You have the upper part on one line, then <br> then the left side, the map graphic, the right graphic, <br> bottom graphic. It's a bit harder with the circular map but the circular map itself must be cut/masked from the main map somehow so it's already using some code. Also CSS allows stacking of images. At least with text, it's possible to have text on top of an image, or image on top of a block of text. I don't know if it would be possible to have an image on top of another image, but it might work.

It's a sqaure image, bordered with the same green as the background. I guess you could have that transparant instead, but I still don't think you can easily stack images even then.. (I'm no css expert, but I have never noticed stacked images on any webpage, and I would have noticed that I think).
