Fallout (3, NV)

Postby WolfEyez99 » Thu Mar 20, 2014 5:30 pm

I love Fallout New Vegas the best, Fallout three is okay too. Lets talk about your favourite characters, locations, quests, weapons, and clothing!

Weapon: Machine guns!
Character: Three dog and Caesar
Location: Jacobstown and Vault 101
Quest: Volare!
Clothing: Great Khan uniforms

Yeah, whats yours?

I've only played Fallout 1 and 2. Did you ever play those?

I haven't played any modern games. Fallout 1 was sort of traumatizing because if you made some sort of a critical error, you got the losing video where your character is dipped and turned into a mutant, and then the mutants storm the Vault and kill everybody. Also there's a time limit, although I didn't find it an issue. Fallout 2 has this underground area in one place that can't be accessed without a patch. Apparently I didn't have that particular patch because I went back there in the end of the game when all my skills were maxed and still couldn't pick the lock. That was ridiculous.

So thanks to a long weekend, I finally going to be doing some streaming. So far I was thinking Fallout 1,2 and NV so far, I know someone wanted more as in the forest, stranded deep, etc. Any ideas? They would more than likely be a "Let's play" Stream.

Something like that. And most people want to "brush up" oh the mechanics of fallout before it, but most don't have any fallout, and want to see a legendary story line. That's what streaming is for.

November 10th is when my Xbox One / Fallout 4 Bundle is coming!!! *Salivates*
Back to the others, though. Fallout 3 is perfection, and New Vegas had real iron sights, so that's cool, too.

Having trouble which one to stream tonight. Choices are 1,2, 3, and NV. Best believe ill be streaming 4 the day it comes out.

3, imo, is ultimately the best of the four. Literal days of my time have gone into that game. NV was good, but I don't think it packed the same level of punches that 3 did.

High hopes for Fallout 4, launches 10th November here, the days won't pass quick enough.

Agreed, however, I need to find a fix that stops it from crashing every time I stream it. Using OBS.

I really want to buy it but I'm resisting so far. My productivity levels are suffering enough already.

I'd fight a Deathclaw to have my hands on it right this very moment. The way my holidays have worked out, I'm off from now until the day Fallout 4 comes out. Heart = Broken.

Oh, and on this Optimus. (I need to find a fix that stops it from crashing every time I stream it. Using OBS.). I do not think such a fix even exists. 3 is worse for it than NV, (not by much), but it is a rarity that a stream doesn't have at least one crash. I went through hell with this before, and never found a solution.

Hopefully 4 has all the kinks worked out.
