Anarchy-Online
Anyone play?
Or interested in playing?
This is keeping me occupied for awhile. It's a large download, but it's free! I named one of my characters after my cantr character and am pretending it's just a virtual 3-D cantr for now....
'Course...it's nowhere near as satisfying...-sniffle-
Anyways, it's a basic rpg....you get a character and choose it's species and skill. Then, get missions. Find weapons, armour, etc. Level up. Kill the bad guys. That type of game.
I like it because there are virtually an endless list of weapons, skills, and armour, making for quite the variety of game play. You can always find better than what you have. And the missions are very straightforward so long as your character doesn't die.
Con - You have to start off on newbie island and complete some very stupid and simple missions if you want to get a good leg up for the "real" world, but those missions could take you the better half of an hour. If you're completely new to the game and don't ask for help, it could take 2 or 3 hours.

Nope sorry. I'm sure this game has an ingame store to buy things with real money. Unfortunately I'm very vulnerable for that. So I keep away from such games.
There is no rule that says I can't post as much I want. I asked my lawyer.

LOL! Well, it does have the option to buy an expansion pack. My husband bought it and personally, I found play without the expansion pack better. XD
Other than that though, everything in the game is bought with "credits" which are earned through completing missions.

woohoo! Then maybe I can have someone to play with! XD Yeah, the download, install, and first patch took like an hour if I remember right....:S
But it's a fun game! Let me know when you get to the game. Type the following command in the chatline: /tell Corpchellyne [space and then insert whatever so that I know it's you]
Then I can help ya out!

So Crashblizz has been playing this with me for the last couple of days, and we both agree....we could totally use this game as a 3-D cantr for now!
It'd have a slightly different set of rules, but hey, at least we could get our RP fill!

I think I'll give this a try again... I played a little bit when it first became free. I'm pretty sure I was in sixth grade when this was originally released :p

Haha! Yeah, it's eight years old now. I love it, although it is a great download. Let me know if you do give it a try! I have a new toon though.....type in the chatbox : /tell Firestick <insert something here>
That way I'll get your message and maybe I can help you out.
