You do automatically eat it if you're hungry enough. It only lands on the ground if it was someone else's project.

Re: Faery Tale Online (FTO)
For some reason I was given a 10 year old star girl as well. My partner moved but has no description and didn't speak. This seems like fun, too bad everything is so slow with the countless menus. I seem to have fallen into an old town -- there's plenty to loot except the one priority: food.
Am I alone in this lag? It has been this way ever since I tried it again a week ago, and I don't get it at all. Every click takes forever to process.

I ate like 7 raw fish before my hunger had decreased to a level where it is no longer an imminent threat.
At first i thought i was unlucky to have fallen into Tundra. But, i am lucky!
Considering i could have fallen onto those plains over there where there is no food to be foraged.
There's a river here. A lot of fish. My spawning partner has managed to start a fire. We can hopefully cook some food and bathe in warmth for a while.
We will be able to hunt Artic hares for furs and meat. There's also berries, dry brush and some wood around here.
I even discovered a freshwater spring!

Tundra has wild blueberries. 3 blueberries makes blueberry juice, which only takes an hour to make but puts your hunger status up to saturated.

Well combat is easy enough in some iron armour, using magic.

FTO's interface is horrid on so many levels. He tried to optimize it by setting some "panels" to not refresh, but it just makes it harder to use. The page loads take ages. I eat through most of my hour of playtime just waiting for screens to load.

I don't think the servers for the game are meant to handle all of the increased traffic from the star child storm. It's been running horribly when I go to do anything on my star child, but on my mauri, it runs perfectly.
Oh look, another glorious morning… makes me SICK!

Well that endeavor didn't last long. Ever since I registered the site has been down due to bandwidth limit.

Is FTO just completely dead now or what?
I wanted a Cantr-like game that wouldn't eat up too much of my time and I remember hearing a lot about this one, but registering put me at 196 in the queue, with a total of one pregnant mother in the entire world.
Perhaps an even greater cause for concern, I checked the official forums and it's been a year and a half since anybody posted.

It's still active. In fact, in my experience there's more going on in town than the average Cantr day. The forums were practically shut down to avoid unwanted criticism I think.
