Other games similar to CANTR?

Postby Taralyn » Tue Jan 20, 2009 4:20 am

Ok, so I love Cantr but with only 12 characters allowed I need another game to tide me over lol.
Does anyone know any other free online games similar to CANTR?

no. there are none. belive me I KNO!!! There isn't anything like cantr. in all other games they may have role playing, but there isn't anything that will let you have as mutch controll over sociaty (or the lack of sociaty) like cantr.

there are lots of other games, but i don't know of any off the top of my head that i'd reccomend.

15 characters.

You might be interested in Faery Tale Online. It is inspired by Cantr, but is still very much in development.

hahahaha you sound like me a few months ago.

Apart from FTO, I'm going to say no. Unless you count muds/mucks which aren't so far from the same concept, really. So I'm making my own game.. lol.

PS. Go the aussie chicks!! Let's have an aussie cantr party now :D

Stranded II is a lot like Cantr (especially with some of the mod packs), but is only single player.

There was something along the lines....and has since passed....to the sadness of all that spent time in that universe.

I could just... well... whatever.

I read a bit and it seems to have amazing potential. I'll see you on the forums (I think I saw Dudel, Doug, and Surly already) and will be posting under the name "Legislature."

Dudel removed FTO as it started to get a little 'meh' for my tastes. Lots of things about it now that I see will end in a quick failure.

Gee, wasn't that mailing list going to send a message when registration opens? Well it didn't, at least not for me. Anyway, I registered now. The registration system seems good but I wonder how long I'll have to wait for my character to be born.
