Last Names in Cantr Zhongwen

Postby Lychee » Wed Jul 19, 2006 12:10 am

The last names I have seen in the Cantr games are

I only seen some of these Xings before in RL, and if you seen for surnames in the Cantr Zhongwen, then list them here, its interesting to know them.

I know that 丁,洪,朴,吳 are true last names in real life.....although 朴(a.k.a Park) is more popular in Korea. Im not sure about the others, 古 and 牛 are real....

I guess I have not run into many characters yet... :P I guess that's because my characters are moving all over the place.

I think I have only seen 吴 and 林 being used so far, but most people around my characters aren't talking much. I am a cultural purist so my characters don't generally get full names. My first character simply adopted the family name of the other two characters around him. :) It would be cool to get a clan or family structure going, but I will have to see where the game takes us!

My characters tend to be settlers and builders, so they haven't moved and explored much yet.

And I invited my labmates to try it out, but they said the game sounds boring. :?

hmm... this could come in handy, yes I would be interesting to start up like a clan or something, I tried getting a friend to play, well I said to start in the english zone just to get the feel of cantr then start on the chinese zone, but I don't think she gets the concept of text based rpg and rping with out all the visual stuff like say Final Fantasy and games like that, so I don't think she'll be playing. My other friend, who has like perfect chinese understandingness, she's really busy and isn't very interested in computer games.

Torkess,

Remember when you play, your character is not suppose to know anyone or anything from Real Life or from your other characters ... so trying to organize a clan via friends from Real Life is a no no... :)

I've began noticing a trend with charries who have no surnames. o__o

So far I've been naming all of my characters (with one exception) "小黄", "小王", "小红", etc.

I'm not very creative on names :)
