Yeah, I got bored and went back at it, naming pages with simplified characters. It seems to be going alright, so I will go ahead and keep working on it that way. :)

Basically, I was planning to just copy pages from the English wiki and replacing the names and links with the appropriate translations from in game as I have time. Maybe if a few of us can take some time here and there to lay out the blueprint, the more fluent players can focus on quality descriptions. :)

The page name displayed in the category is always the same as the page name that goes in the URL. Nothing you can do about it.

Does anyone know what "Lithuanian" in chinese? or I guess we can just keep that untranslated.

EDIT:
Great Wichi! I guess since this is really... actually quite complicated, well for me anyways, we'll just take this on slowly.

Should we have healing foods as "藥菜"?
Oh well, I'll start translating the potato page.

I have a few questions.....I don't know the verb to farm, do we just use the verb to plant?

and btw I finished the potato page now! Yay, I'll work on the Bread page.

If people don't mind, when I have some times, I will go back and compare terms with what has been translated in game, so they will be the same... :)

And may I suggest, for easier listing purpose, we can use # of strokes to list... might be easier to track it that way... :)

Torkess,

what I meant is, for example, for the raw materials portion, simply list the items there according to number of strokes of the character... that will give it some sort of order...... I think.

Unfortunately, I think that is going to be handled automatically like the Category headings....

That means that everything will be listed according to the first character in the URL and..... I guess this is going to take a bit of thought and planning. We'll have to see how it goes.

Oh, and I will be pulling the translations straight from the game for any pages I create. I think the most useful part of the wiki will be to quickly identify items, for those who are not familiar with the characters used in game.

You could rig sortkeys to sort the categories by stroke count as suggested. Just add the stroke count after the category name in the tag - [[Category:Meeg|3]], for example.

thanks Sho,

not quite sure how to get there, but I'm sure once someone start doing it, I'll pick it up from there.

How about listing by the first letter of the article's hanyu pinyin title? It would be kind of alphabetical then.
