Lychee...that is correct....水果沙拉 is what we call it here...I'm pretty sure it's the name in other Chinese speaking area as well.

fatamorgana, I'll rework that part of transation later then... 用過的 does sounds smoother to me as well....

The Chinese welcome message on the Cantr Wiki doesn't make any sense:

Might edit it sometime.

Please note that most languages, especially Chinese, don't translate properly by running English text through Babelfish. ^_^"

Should
"one hour ago"
be
前一个小时?

or

2 "days ago"
should be
2个日前?

I think I translated the first line of that welcome paragraph, sorry if it doesn't make sense.

'One hour ago' is "一个小时前".
'Two days ago' is "兩天前".

Can the mods please remove these trolls (Loc and Sasza) from the forum?

I have a translation issue that's been bugging me for a long time:
when I try to throw items on the ground, I get this message:

个最大的量你可以丢下是117
丢下的量:

It should read

"你能丢下的最大分量是117克.
你要丢下的分量是:____"

</grammar>

Thanks!

Nobody replied my previous post, but here's another one.

This sentence is a bit weird:

"你要吃 965 克的 苹果 回返 一百分的力量。 你现在有 566 克的 苹果, 所以最大的量你可以吃是 566 的克。
吃的数量:
Amount to eat:"

It should be

“你必须吃965克苹果来恢复100%的力量。你现在有566克苹果,所以你可以吃的最大分量是566克。

你要吃下的分量:”

I think 100% would be clearer than the Chinese translation. Thanks!

good catch :) Sometimes it's hard to catch and fix these sort of translation issue, because the main part are translated from English. And the English portion are broken down into various parts, so many times, you don't know how the things you've just translated will fit into the game....

Hematite and Iron ore?

Postby Torkess_theCommie » Tue May 01, 2007 7:16 am

I noticed that hematite and iron ore have the same Chinese Translation:

铁矿

I realize that there probably isn't Chinese translation for Hematite, but could there possibly be a way to make the two have two different names?

I guess we could call hematite, "raw" iron ore?

原始铁矿

Or iron ore, "crushed" iron ore?

压碎铁矿

"你像新手地用拳头伤了考拉, 它损失了2体力."

are you sure the "像" is needed?

"像" could be replaced with a different verb... but I think it is needed.

I believe Hematite could be translated to 赤铁矿, and Iron Ore is 铁矿石
