What are notes made of?

Postby Rumaan » Mon Jun 21, 2010 4:03 am

Currently, notes seem to be made of no material. They just exist.

I suggest we have a paper industry to manufacture paper for the notes. And it would be good if we had some way to make pencils, pens and ink. Notes written with pencils wouldn't last long and those written with rarer and rarer inks would last longer.

Jos once told me that notes are the backbone of Cantr. We're not messing with this.

Ok, leave notes the way they are. But what about adding some more options? Just some new rp items, which would work as notes but beeing more difficult to make. Books, parchment, primitive and good quality paper. There are lots of adventages for this idea:
- making contracts which are not that easy to be copied
- personal notebooks
- Prestige of high quality notes in rich cities

If we have a long creative discussion about it, we surely figure out how to make this balanced.
