Giving mementos to dead bodies

Will it be possible at some point for living characters to give a clothing accessory or flowers to a dead body?

I have a character that is struggling with the sudden death of another character and would like to place something on the body before burial. This is not the first time I’ve had a character that would like to do this.

After all, a dead body can hold onto clothing items.

If this is a topic that has already been discussed, please point me to it because I couldn't find anything that addresses this.

This has been suggested before, you may want to bump the following thread in the suggestions forum Putting things on corpses. The original suggestion is pver two years old but never rejected - consider it a back burner idea
