Wearing more than one ring

Postby Doug R. » Fri Feb 03, 2006 2:04 pm

Why can't I wear more than one ring?

Do Cantrians only have one finger? Like an elephant's nose? That certainly would explain a lot!

Because it's easier to code that way.

Same question with bracelets. Even if you've only got two arms, you can wear lots of bracelets. Just look at punk girls... they've usually got about 20 of those elastic plastic rings.

Can we code clocks?

1234 - 9 You see a man in his twenties use a clock on making a Flavor Flav Necklace

Just be happy with your one ring.

I think the right thing would be to use:
Earrings: 1 (because earrings come in two)
Bracelets - 2
Rings - 2 or more
Necklaces - 1 or more

I think there is no need for limits. A guy should be allowed to wear 50 rings, 30 necklaces and 200 piercings if he likes.

The weight of all that will hinder him enough to make limits useless.

Exactly who I was thinking about!!!

Strength of the character could determine how many kilos of clothing/jewelry one can carry.

Also, I think that clothing and jewelry should weight 50% when worn. (If I carry my clothes, I cannot carry much more. If I wear them I can carry something else).

I think it sounds sensible to allow wearing more than one piece of jewellery at the same time. I'm afraid taste would be the only limiting factor to the number of rings and bracelets though, as clothes are weightless as far as I'm aware.

I have one guy who will definetly love this. Currently I just have it written in the description that he have multiple ones.

Does anyone object? If not, we can move to accepted.

My objection:

Why wasn't this implemented before, and why isn't it already in the "accepted" board? :D

Moved. Please have a reasonable limit though, so that computers/browsers/brains don't die after clicking on char desc, even if it's maybe 20. 10 would make more sense though because it would be hard to keep that many on. Same with bracelets and necklaces.

It's pretty interesting why he has all those necklaces and rings. Check out his wiki.

I also agree with increased limits or even no limit at all. I knew a girl who had 14 piercings in each ear.
