Jardinieres

Postby Theda » Fri Jul 23, 2010 7:06 pm

Would it be very difficult to have daisies and buttercups and other aromatic herbs (lavanda for example) in the jardinieres? Only exist jardinieres with roses or tulips. :(

Daisies and buttercups shouldn't be a problem, lavender neither, but it shouldn't be too many new types. Which other types would be desired?

I'm going to assume you're being sarcastic with the pumpkins thing, Piscator, but lemons? Should we stick to herbs/flowers? Fruits seem a bit...off. I mean I know it's sort of a roundy bowl thing (at least google image search says so) and it can FIT lemons, but that's not the purpose for one is it? Sorry for being picky. >.<

Well, it was an ironic response to an answer I perceived to be also ironic. The question still stands, which flowers do you want?

My answer was not ironic, I gave a list to chose.

Maybe use irony with someone like me who might get it. Some players do make an effort to understand English, not to mention they don't know everything there is in game.

Not nice eh? :|

Ahh, don't forget, sarcasm doesn't work on the internet. Science says so. Tone of voice and all that.

Lemon trees, then? Just seems a bit wily. A little big. It's not like you're really going to get scurvy.
....right?! *scared*
Edit: And I was sort of thinking of piling lemons in there. Since roses are just water+roses, bit like a vase. You don't put a whole bush in there, soil or something.

Wikipedia wrote:The first meaning of jardinière is also a large stand, pot, urn, or receptacle upon which, or into which, plants may be placed. Jardinieres tend to be highly decorative. They are often used for: a garden accent element; for large plants; and for raised culinary and herb gardens.

*shrugs* I looked at Cantr wiki, and it mentioned nothing about soil (do we have that?) or sand or whatever. Wouldn't you have to have that for a tree, even a decorative one?
For that matter it doesn't really make sense that flowerpots don't have sand or something. Or dirt. (Which we dont (?) have either).
