Postby Sunni Daez » Fri Jan 03, 2014 9:10 am

We have rubber boots

Why not rain hats and raincoats? Made from rubber as well?

Maybe your suggestion is -so- good that no discussion is needed? :P

Okay, lets see then...

Waxed hemp coat
Hemp coat
50 grams of beeswax
brush

Waxed hemp trousers
hemp trousers
40 grams of beeswax
brush

Rubber raincoat
1000 grams of rubber
scissors
needle

That's as far as I'm getting for now... Can always add more :)

At least on the Finnish region these would get really handy, since it's been raining a lot.

And hard.
Is there any reason why this suggestion cannot be fast tracked like the winter wear was?

What really sucks is being stuck out on a sloop or something during the rain, you can't even RP taking shelter somewhere.

Since pictures seem to help, here is a masculine version of a raincoat, more to follow later:Image

I think these should contain some sort of fasteners. If we use hemp coat as a base, that comes with laces, but the rubber raincoat should have buttons. I agree it sucks being stuck in a rainy environment without any way to build equipment to protect you from it. I'm not sure if I have the right to accept suggestions, otherwise I'd do it straight away.

Please tell us who to bug, Seko. I bug/chase people for a living and am happy to do that.
Edit: Bugging successful.
