Okay, that's a lot of votes. Moving to accepted, although don't hold your breath. Implementations have been slow recently.

I remember from my time in LD that words like "cowboy hat" should be avoided, unless there's no similar word. Perhaps "wide-brimmed hat" might be better here?

But there's already a wide-brimmed leather hat, and that can be described as a cowboy hat, so there's no need for another one.
