Re: Improve the People tab!
It sounds like good idea, but should be discussed separately
‘Never! Run before you walk! Fly before you crawl! Keep moving forward! You think we should try to get a decent mail service in the city. I think we should try to send letters anywhere in the world! Because if we fail, I’d rather fail really hugely’

Re: Improve the People tab!
I love this change! Thanks!
The starving icon I am seeing is very faint, barely visible. I remember seeing a better icon, with a white skull (as shown in some posts above). Is there more than one icon in use, with a faint one representing less starvation than a white skull? If there is only one, I would prefer the white skull. If there is more than one, I'd like to see the faint one retouched to be more visible (yet still distinguishable from the almost-dead-from-starvation one).

Now there are three levels of starvation:
starving -> emaciated -> very hungry
The more visible icon gets, the more hungry person is. If you can't see that icon easily, it means that it's probably not easily noticeable for your character
Thresholds of certain states are set just like in that suggestion:

Re: Improve the People tab!
If I may, if you're starting from the least hungry to the most, the order is backwards. Starving should be the worst, not the least severe.

Before the changes on the character description page, the most (and only) visible was "he looks like being very hungry" or something like that, and aim was to not change meaning of old text. (viewtopic.php?f=79&t=22694). But if you think otherwise there's no problem to change it.

Re: Improve the People tab!
I agree with Doug. Very hungry only signifies hunger that may or may not be visible to me. Emaciation signifies seeing signs of starvation, and starving signifies that they could keel over any day.

I agree as well, it seems completely backwards.
