Perhaps your character accidentally ate red rocks that just happened to LOOK like tomatoes?

Re: Change to manual eating
All the while I've been assuming that line in the database is your character, since it's the only one stuck in there, but now I came to think of another alternative, that it's not getting purged because the character whose stomach it's in is in fact dead. And that's indeed the case. So what exactly is the page saying? If it says you can eat 8000 grams more, that means your stomach is empty since that's the max capacity.

Re: Change to manual eating
thats weird. O.o
since then, there has been no purging, and there are no tomatoes in her inventory. (if i remember right, it was 1116g tomatoes)
but i just checked, trying to make her eat, and youre right. i get this message:
she was not injured at the time of eating the tomatoes, and she IS injured now, but the tomatoes have not been used to heal her injury, either.
(and yes, that is her name in my account, but not the name anyone knows her by, which is why i dont mind posting it)
3342-7.23: You ate all your tomatoes.

You have 20 grams of french fries and there's 8000 grams of space left in your stomach,
she was not injured at the time of eating the tomatoes, and she IS injured now, but the tomatoes have not been used to heal her injury, either.
3346-6.35: ~a woman~ novicely hurts you using a steel dagger. You lose 14 percent strength.

Re: Change to manual eating
The tomatoes were purged at the eating tick after she ate them. They haven't healed her new wound because they no longer exist. So, nothing at all is wrong.

oooooh wait. am i misunderstanding? the food just disappears into thin air if it wasnt needed for hunger or healing?
(and there's no purging message in the events to show that it was indeed purged?)

Re: Change to manual eating
Yeah, currently food remains in the stomach only until the eating tick, during which it disappears into thin air. That's what we call purging. There's no message for it.
Also the thing about dead people explains why all of the lines weren't deleted the first time. It's because of course since the logging had been in place for months, some of the eaters had had time to die and the current code only deletes food consumed by living people. It's a relief to know that there is no server capacity problem after all.

Everything but drunkeness is implemented, so can we move it to implemented suggestion?
