Container lock?

Im kind of new, but maybe you can use a building lock on a container?

But if not, this should definitely be implemented.

This was tried on mailboxes, but the game doesn't support it, unfortunately, since you need to be inside to lock something.

It would be great, if we could make some containers locks, so we put there those items and keep it locked, so no need to make separate room for it.
Of course only bigger containers could be locked, like:
apothecary kit
small wooden crate
large wooden crate
small barrel
barrel
large barrel
oil drum
container
small silo

This way we could make food barrels only for townsfolk, that have keys, or make tools crates or other things prevented from stealing.
