Ok...

Old forum game - but yet to see it in the Cantr forum...

First person to get the name of the artist/band and the name of the song gets to post another lyric - then the next person to get that etc... etc...

(Note: the first lyric is the name of the topic, just in case you hadn't noticed  )
Whoever you vote for.

Drink her venom, stay awake
With time all pain will fade
Through your memory I will wade"

Youre supposed to post a lyric, silly, but I'll do it for you:
\M/
Since we're on the genre of rock, lets make it hard rock:

Shes got a face that sings to me
reminds me of childhood memories
where everything was as fresh as the bright blue skies!
Now and then when I see her again
she takes me away to that special place
Ill prolly break down and cry!
Waaaaaaaaaoooooooo ...[title]...
Waaaaaaaaaoooooooo sweet love o mine!

Neil Young - Needle and the Damage Done

And following the theme:

Now she puts the kid away,
and she's gone to get a hit
She hates her life,
and what she's done to it
There's one more kid
that will never go to school
Never get to fall in love,
never get to be cool.

Keep on rockin' in the free world
Keep on rockin' in the free world
Keep on rockin' in the free world
Keep on rockin' in the free world

Neil Young - Keep on rockin' in the free world
Covered by Pearl Jam.

Maybe there is a theme to these lyrics, but I'm too tired and drunk to care...

New lyric - She says: We've got to hold on to what we've got
'Cause it doesn't make a difference if we make it or not.
We've got each other and that's a lot for love -
We'll give it a shot.
We're half way there...

I love Jon Bon Jovi. :)

I think that's Living on a Prayer?

Ooooh-we should all know this one:

Fear me you lords and lady preachers
I descend upon your earth from the skies
I command your very souls you unbelievers
Bring before me what is mine

THE SEVEN SEAS OF RYE!

That's Queen, baby.

(title). you are the one
Only you 'neath the moon
or under the sun
whether near to me or far
It's no matter, darling, where you are
I think of you....
Like the beat beat beat of the tom-tom
When the jungle shadows fall
Like the tick tick tock of the stately clock
As it stands against the wall...

New one:

I am an anarchist
Don't know what I want
But I know how to get it
I wanna destroy the passerby
