There are usually about 6-10 players, IIRC. However, I am still not entirely sure if I can host the game myself, so... there is an empty GM position as well.

Would anyone be willing to volunteer the position? I'd do it if nobody else wants to, I've had experience in mafia on other sites, but I'd like to know what kinds of games you guys like to play before I'd normally think about hosting.
