Hi everyone! This is my first post here, but I've been playing Cantr for a few months now so some of your characters might know mine
I'm from Singapore and speak English and Chinese equally well, so I was happy to create a Chinese-speaking character in Cantr. It would be great to see a Chinese section in this forum for OOC discussion...the town in the Chinese part of Cantr doesn't even have a name yet, so we have quite a long way to go!
Not sure if I'm posting this in the correct place, so apologies if this thread should move somewhere else.
Suggestion: A Chinese forum section

Torkess,
that's something I have raised so far, (regarding use of simplified and traditional characters)... and the thinking so far is, since there are still people who only knows traditional characters and not the simplified characters, it will not be a breach of CRB to use them in the game. (Someone correct me if that is not the case now)...
plus, there are ways to type simplified character using the traditional ping-ying method... (that's how I learned.... I actually didn't know simplified characters when I started to translate a few months ago)

Yeah, I was gonna copy/paste it and ask an admin, but I needed to wait until I was logged in under Linux, where I had the character support, else I don't think it would have copied properly. Seems Chris was his responsive self as usual - thanksjohntsai wrote:Oh, I thought Hallucinatingfarmer meant he needs it, so I sent him a PM that day with those info...
here it is again..
中文玩家 (that means Chinese Players....I think it should be sufficient)
中文玩家-角色外讨论区 (Chinese Players - Out of Character Discussion area)
I think those should be sufficient....
