But... thanks anyway.

Is the search function supposed to be repaired? I seem not to be able to find anything between 2005 and a few days ago.

No, it's not. I assume Adam will pull the message when it's fixed, but it looks like we'll have to take the forum offline again to reindex the search table, which would mean another 2-3 days of downtime.

Does anyone else have problems going back to a previous page in the forum? I always get the "this page isn't available " and I have to refresh or start over.

And it takes forever to type a post. I'm already done with the sentence and it has just typed the first word, so I have to wait to see if I typed correctly. Then, if I have to backspace, that also takes a long time.

Lag when typing things in the text area usually implies something is going slow on your computer, as nothing on the server is involved in that. I haven't seen the problems you described at all.

I have those (or similar) problems occasionally when writing from my (pretty slow) laptop. It happens when I run low on memory. Closing other applications and/or restarting firefox should help.

A small request: Could you change the CSS for the CODE tag to make it a little bit easier to read?

Code: Select all

I can hardly read this, and not even selecting all the text helps much.

Which style are you using and what exactly is the problem?

The new default light-green one. Problem is text is light grey on a light green background, and small font.

Hmm. I don't have that problem and would have sworn the text is black (which it of course isn't).

Why don't you make a Stylish script?

Code: Select all

.codecontent  {
color:#000 !important;
font-size:12px !important;
}

Or something like that.

Because I guess more people than me have problems reading that text, I figured I'd suggest a change.

I'm posting this here rather than start a new topic.

When I try to get to the Non-Forum Games I get the nice message "You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum."

This makes me sad. :P I dunno if anyone else is getting this, or if it's just me, but I thought I'd let it be known.

We were hoping you wouldn't figure out it's just you.

I was gonna report it, but got distracted. :oops:
