Stored someone else his letter

Postby .::. MysticGötén .::. » Thu Jan 29, 2004 3:41 pm

Hahaha,
I made a letter and after I stored it, I noticed that letter wasn't in my inventory, and when I looked very carefully, I noticed I had the letter of some one else. The letter I made was in a dutch environement and dus was in dutch but this letter is in english
it says:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Lady

I have decided to be your loyal servant. I will do what you want me to do, and will
be at your disposal.

Anthony Callaghan
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Uhhm, is this normal?
Maybe this guy has my letter now?

Or maybe I had this letter all along but I never noticed it (don't think that will be the case) and something just went wrong when I stored my own letter, so it didn't save. And if this is so, how did I get this letter, I can't recall picking it up.

Not much of a prob though, I pressed the "back" button and went back 2 me letter and saved it again. And this time I've got me own, and still that other letter in english

I was unable to find duplicate IDed notes.

Is the text above from the note you lost or the note you found?

I can look for the note you lost and see where it wound up. YOu can e-mail programming@cantr.net

the text above was from the note I found, but I had been able 2 restore me own letter by going back a few pages and re-saving it. I just find it a bit strange that me letter disappeared.

The person with me letter most likely cant read it anyway cauz it is in dutch and not every body can read dutch :)

anyone with a moderate knowledge of both english and german can do a reasonable job guessing the approximate meaning

anyone with access to babelfish can do even better.

/has both.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Could not find what could have caused it or anything left that would indicate what I thought it was.
