Re: More uses for tin
Are those things made from tin the material or tin the element?

Re: More uses for tin
Tin stuff would be cool but it should deteriorate faster because it's softer.

Re: More uses for tin
We have tin cups and tin cans, so the suggestion is about the same resource and with same tools used also.
Doesn't matter. Just for rp, cans and cups are for storage and if you wanna make some of these for anything else aside roleplay, then good they rot to spare me have to wash them

Re: More uses for tin
I was under the impression that (colloquially) tin could refer to any kind of silvery sheet metal (tinfoil, tin can, tin box) regardless of whether it actually contains tin (any more).
This might not be a 100% accurate, but apparently so called tinware is in fact mostly made from iron or steel with a thin layer of tin to prevent corrosion. The uses for pure tin are actually pretty limited since it's a rather soft metal.
As long as it only concerns RP items though, realism is probably no issue.

Maybe you could tin steel pots and the like and it would increase their durability? It could be an upgrade project similar to plating shields.
