Petrol usage for drills and harvesters has been out of balance for many months now, ever since the introduction of vehicle fuel.
Let's consider the easy option of making drilling/harvesting generate an "Automatic Project with optional Manual Assistance", when petrol is used. So when you use proper fuel, the machine requires no/less manual labour, and in this way the fuel expense to run the drill or harvester this way becomes much more justified. Balancing things out a bit, at least until RD brings in their promised changes to drills.
Making drilling with petrol an Automatic Project.

Petrol usage of drills and harvesters has been out of balance forever, not just since the introduction of vehicle fuel.
Making fuel consuming projects automatic is actually the option I find the most appealing, but I wonder if it is compatible with the concept of a harvester, which is after all a machine you have to steer across a field. Maybe different approaches for drills and harvesters might be in order.

Pretty in pink.

It'd be alright if we made it "Auto with Manual Assistance", representing that it's a machine that works better with some occasional human help. After all, a harvester can drive in a straight line across a frield on its own, as seen in some old comedy films where the driver jumps out to talk to some girls.

In my opinion output without fuel should be significally reduced.

A patient reminder that this thing still needs to be looked at. And no one's been able to, it's just been left as is.
