I have few different friends, but one really suprised me before and I got shocked. She works in a radio since long and she will make program series about the mythology so she asked my help. I introduced her to a trusted friend who is a student in Greek language and literature because I thought he can help better than me. Today she called me, asked is he a real person or kind of a fake personality which belongs to a group that make people talk about their life and such. Now I'm not sure should I be just amused about her paranoia or keep a distance from her...

I guess the political situation in your country makes people edgy, especially those who work in the media.

Sometimes I think the world is wise. I have been born with no special powers, resources, nor anything special. And the world is still wise enough to keep me apart of taking a fuel drum and a lighter and putting fire to many, many things.
Sometimes I think that, the day I see my end coming, I will take many of the things that are wrong (and unfortunately at my hand) with me.

I wonder if anyone else ever roleplays by themselves out of boredom. I convince myself it'll help my writing and roleplaying but really it's out of sheer boredom that I do it. lol Anyway, shower time!

So for being extremely nervous and anxious, I totally flew through my interview for the new job today. As of today, I'm registered for STNA classes at the nursing home right around the corner from my house (literally a 5 minute walk) and have guaranteed full time employment after the classes are finished. Times are changing and I for one could not be happier.

Congrats! Isn't it wonderful when things seem to fall into place? Plus, soon you will start seeing people in traffic and be able to feel sorry for those poor souls who can't just go skipping to work.

P.S. I need you to skip to work, to illustrate my point.

Post-hole diggers and chainsaws.
leaf-blowers and garbage trucks that never get full.
Neighbors working in each others yard.
Once there was quiet, now activity.

I am comforted that a natural disaster got this kind of community cooperation.
Its also sad.

We took a pretty direct hit from Irma this week.
We did not lose the house, but might lose one of our stately oaks in the front yard.
What kind of natural force can do this? I have been through many hurricanes (I know I know, "why do you still live there?")
This was easily the most devastating... our county was declared a disaster area by FEMA.
The house survived and the yard... its going to take days.
Every street in the older neighborhoods is lined by a wall of discarded brush, tree parts, and random pieces of houses.

Its time to take stock in what things matter in life.
We have our blood, our relatives, and our pets.
That's all that matters.
The rest is just stuff.

Time to get some new stuff.
