Strange...completely opposite of what I would have guessed...

Economic Left/Right: -3.50
Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.56

Which means on the scale, I'm closest to Ghandi.

That's cool.

But it's a lot farther left and down than i would have thought.

As I have said many times, I'm in the middle with a little bit to the right.

Economic Left/Right: 0.88
Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.67

I would question whether or not this is really an accurate way of depciting someone's political viewpoints. This is just like IQ tests trying to depict your intelligence. A bunch of bs.

As I thought:

Economic Left/Right: 0.38
Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.13

More or less right in the middle.

hmmmm......They have Pope John Paul II as being on the left. Most people consider him the most Conservative pope in recent history.

I'm close to nowhere or anyone. Maybe I should start a new political party. Anyone want to join.

Oh and did these people have all of those people answer these questions too? If not then did they just guess what they would answer?

Once more I would argue the inaccuracies of this test.

Oh, it says I am a Liberal Democrat. :(

Now I want to kill myself. I disagree with a lot of what Liberal Democrats want. At least it doesn't have me near the Green Party. Then I would really have to kill myself. :D

Don't worry. You still seem like a right-wing dictator type from where I am standing.

I'm no dictator mind you. I am very liberal as far as freedom goes and such. I'm just not liberal in many other aspects.

Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.33

I'm not really politically minded, but this was an interesting little test.

Economic Left/Right: -6.62
Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.51

When you think about how the questions were formed, some of you must have really scary views to end up so close to the middle...

keep in mind that in Britain (where i believe the test originates)
Liberal Democrat may not mean the same thing as it does in America.

I really question the validity of this test. I think I would really alarm some people who are scored the same. I will go over it again later, but I think it had more insane authoritarian right questions than left. Although insane is a slightly weighted term. maybe.

Also, I think my reasons are not what they had in mind on some of those.

And it says:
A diverse professional team has assessed the words and actions of globally known figures to give you an idea of how they relate to each other on the political compass.

So, in other words, they made it up.

Yes, I would really question this test thing, too. You noticed that the questions tended toward more reactionary right instead of radical left, too, didn't you?

I think these people were somewhat of a leftist group from what I read on the site and how they describe things. Plus, they had articles against the right wing while none against the left wing. hmmm...........
