completely silent now
with heaven's help
you cast your demons out

around your neck and
tug you off your cloud

how you're planning to go about making your mends
to the dead, to the dead
you called the deeds as if their own
someone else's atrocious stories now
you stand before me, before us all
so glad to see you well
and not to pull your halo down
around your neck and
tug you to the ground
but I'm more than just a little curious
how you're planning to go about making your mends
to the dead, to the dead
with your halo slipping down
your halo slipping
your halo slipping down
your halo slipping down
but I'm more than just a little curious
how you're planning to go about making your mends
your halo slipping down
to choke you now

Mayhem - A Perfect Circle
Just thought I'd share that there is a new A Perfect Circle CD out. And one of the songs, which has become my favorite, reminds me of Mayhem in the Dory area. The lyrics for those who can't get a copy of the song:

This will make it even more appropriate then. Mayhem, as some of you may know, confessed in an interview that he was sorry for his sins. He killed many people and hurt countless more. But he said that he had been brainwashed into doing all that. "You called the deeds as if their own. Someone else's atrocious stories." Suddenly it wasn't his fault. Well, the people of Dory decided he should be let out. Last I knew, he was in the town square helping out and free. "Cured," it seems. Some of the people do not believe that he is. Like in the song, he stand there a new man, but still the same on the inside. The reason everyone 'hates' him is because he cannot "make his amends to the dead."
Such a fitting song, if I do say so myself. But I don't think they play Cantr. The writer is Maynard, lead singer of Tool. Does the name ring any in-character bells?

lol...Tool is my favorite band...and yes Maynard Leeward is named after Maynard James Keenan from Tool, and his perssonality is loosly based on Tool's lyrics and music...seemed to fit Krif...as for the lyrics to this song they seem to be typical for Maynard Keenan's style, nothing more then that.
