So, how old are you really?

It's clear that Sociologist reckons he's the only player who's old enough to think that your schooldays are the best days of your life (Huh? I would never have survived my own schooldays without the hope that life gets better. And indeed it does, but that kind of statement used to throw me into a deeper state of depression, every time. You won't ever catch me saying that). I very much doubt it, somehow.

I'm not sure I want to know exactly how old every individual player is.
There's something to be said for just judging people on their input to this forum and the game. Some of our schoolkids seem remarkably mature. And some of our adults are probably indistinguishable from schoolkids. Ageism just can't function in an eviromment like this, can it?

But it would interesting to find out what kind of chonological age-range we've actually got here. Hence the poll.

For my own part, I'll admit to being old enough to be Lemon Demon's mother. Can't evade that one. I am his mother, after all. That makes me old enough to be mother to quite a lot of players. But it doesn't actually feel that way. When RP-ing , or posting on ths forum, I feel on more-or-less equal terms with evrybody else (well, apart from the PD, etcetera, who funtion as minor gods of course *bows obseqiously*

17... and I don't appreciate both of those "But mentally, I'm 17" comments.
How about instead of making a new topic, you could have just read one of the other five or so of the exact same kind?

Just because you're older, smarter, stronger, more talented... doesn't mean you're BETTER.

I answered your question. I played along. Now why do you have to be so mean all of the time?

Twenty-three, old enough to start forgetting my own age... (Let's see, I was born in 1981, it is two-thousand-...uhm... five now, haven't had my birthday yet this year, so that makes me... uhmmm.... twenty-three!!! Yes, I'm twenty-three years old!!!)

Even though we've had a poll like this before a lot of those people aren't playing anymore and it will be interesting to see how the ages compare now.

It seems like especially a lot of the older (age-wise) players have stopped posting - not sure if they are still playing.

There's already some other thread about this. If you really want to know how old I am, go look there...

19, and I know that Uni life is considerably more likely to be the best days of my life than school was.
