Smoked salmon and cream cheese
Apple and cheese
Alcoholic drinks and ice cream
Soft drinks and ice cream
Solid pieces of chocolate and ice cream
Cheese and lettuce (and/or with other vegetables and/or mayonnaise and/or in a sandwich)
Chips (with ketchup and salt) and Coke... (the sweet and salty flavours go together well IMO)
Fudge and whiskey

Or could try with just paprika or chili and ice cream, see if that works.

Cucumber and pineapple cream cheese(like on a sandwich)
Roast beef/chicken and havarti


(LC, yours reminded my of deviled eggs, which is hard boil... yolk mixed with mayo, mustard, then laid back into the white, then sprinkled with paprika. :P)

Tomato and mayo
curry and peas (add fried pasta too)
chicken + apple and/or pear + maple (cooked in a wok) = goodshit.

Oh I've tried apple and chicken, that's a good combination but I think once I tried pear and it turned out too sweet.
