Another benefit of Patreon. All you need with that is an unobtrusive button on the site.
Edit: Misread that. Letting donors hide the window is a good idea, IMO. One might even call it a perk.

Edit: Looking at your mock up, I'd allow for one time donations, too. Not just subs.
By the way, there is an accounting of Cantr Financials at the very bottom of the main "character list" page, under the Donations area.
It shows, monthly charges and income.
"Financial Overview Cantr II (Summary)"
just below the " Statistics and above the "out-of-character Departments Page" links.

Good point - but marrying the two might make things a bit more readable/encourage people to donate.

Re: Patreon vs. Manual Donate Buttons
I noticed that the financials are updated, but still out-of-date. You could probably automate the updates assuming costs are fixed, and then simply add new costs in on a rolling basis. Happy to code a PHP snippet to handle this + extraneous variables/costs if anyone from ProgD would be happy to review and integrate...

I think this would be great. I wish I had time to implement it.
Thank you for the suggestions. If someone is interested in doing sketches or some other type of art for donations to Cantr, let me know.

Re: Patreon vs. Manual Donate Buttons
If I know what I'm working with - any variables I need to be aware of, or a database table that I can write to (leaving the actual connection details blank for a ProgD member to fill in) then I'd be happy to code this tonight and hand the source over for someone to review and implement. Could someone reach out to me via IRC or PM or email if interested and let me know anything I need to know? Cheers.
