Will we be able to tame horses soon?

Yes or no.
It will become possible when work will be completed.

Taming and horse travel via the animal or wagon would be cool.

In the butchering interface, it would be nice to see which of the animals (if any) are loyal to someone, so you don't butcher the wrong animals.

So... Purely hypothetical situation.. If the animals in a certain pack breed until they fill all resource slots, do they stop breeding?

Is there any reason none of the animal feed containers can be locked? It kind of sucks leaving a trough full of valuable feed to be taken by others -- the alternative is feeding them a little every few days to minimize the risk, which should be unnecessary micromanagement.

With the four day rule applied....
....My char was working when a woman came from down the road, stole all the feed and ran of with it...I guess she just took whatever was unsecured, but it still sucks.

Well, it's not like the animals will be able to unlock it to get to the feed, so what's the point of a lock?

Preferably they would be eating inside the barn, but that is not possible by the current system. The animal enclosure and a locked trough could simulate the same experience however.

Why isn't that possible right now? I'm just curious because I have a couple of birds eating inside my house so have been thinking about building a barn for them and other animals. It's not possible to do that with the current game system?

No animal packs can exist in a building, just separate animals that won't breed. Wish it were possible.

Still can't tame horses :c I thought it was said quite a while ago that it was going to be implemented 'soon'?
I'm only complaining because some of my characters -need- a horse. :p

The answer hasn't changed. If "soon" is all you got out of the response Greek gave you, I feel bad for the effort he put into writing that.

Is there a running list anywhere of all the animals that are domesticate-able, as they're got to?
Also this is probably somewhere obvious and I missed it, but how do you 'pet' a domesticated animal? I keep accidentally adopting.
