I agree; it's good. And the color can easily be changed at this point. From what I remember off the top of my head, Cantr's dark green background is #004400 and it uses #008800 for a lot of the lighter green bars.
Actually I just used a color picker and found that the darkest part at the corners is #004300 and the lighter green of the smile is around #00C900.

I just sampled the colors directly from the icon, so if it's off a bit it'd be because I chose a pixel that was anti-aliased a bit, and didn't notice. But it should be pretty close.

It would be great if we can also add this image as a wiki upload, so anyone could re-use the graphic component for the future?

I'm not sure if the wiki is the best place to upload sandbox components like this. Any other ideas?

Any component needs to be free for use of course.

Edit: "Free of use" is a new copyright mode I have recently introduced, NOT! ;)

Free of use... That sounds legally straightforward, at least. Maybe some webspace could be set aside for 'resources'? could also include those little web-buttons that some people like to have, for forum signatures and stuff, if we don't already have something like that.

I think my edited version "free for use" is better, "free of use" implies that it haven't and never will be used (at least to me it does). :)

The way I see a lot of people talk on the web these days "free of use" could also be read as "free have use" but I have no idea what that would mean.

I agree with "free for use". It looks like some people use "free of use" as well for that meaning, but it doesn't make sense.
I think the wiki would be a good place especially if we want any player to be able to edit it. The new webzine would also be a good place.

I was kidding about free of use really. See, if no one used something, there couldn't ever be legal complications. I can upload the vector file, too, if it seems useful to anyone.

My zeds won't obscure any Cantr graffiti. But signup links for survivor groups and messages that hate on us zombies... fair game. :D

Oh, it never crossed my mind. I ransacked the room but left the graffiti untouched.

Where do you even find spray cans? I don't usually bother with survivors by I do get randomly raised on occasion.

http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Spray_can#Spray_Can lists the locations.

In any case - yes - maybe I should have one of mine go survivor again so I can go advertise. :D

I'd like a flyer that I can print and hang at my college campus, but neither of the links from the first post seem to work. I like Undine's tear-away idea, but the two things I would like are a)library printer friendly and B) you know, text to promote it. Anyone got any ideas? Something geared towards the DnD crowd would work in my area.

These are more web banners, but other kinds of flyers could be added here too: http://wiki.cantr.net/index.php/Promote_Cantr
