Thoughts?

I'm impressed. That was very well thought out.

I didn't make the page (some of these tropes I hadn't heard by name before) but like
What does it all say about the game? From your perspective? From an outsider's perspective?
Do you think there's anything missing?
Anything blatantly wrong?
I'm used to seeing huge long lists of tropes for a book or show or whatever but Cantr has fewer than ten.

You could add tropes like drama whore, Mary Sue, etc. if those exist. And the male equivalent.

Also, religion is actually created by the characters in game, not the players. Maybe also stress somewhere that -everything- in the game is created in game by characters, the game engine merely provides the world and the mechanics for characters to do so.

Well if you think about it
The idea had to first come to the player, who then passes it on to the character.

But you're right; there should be more emphasis on the everything-is-character-created aspect of the game.

Are you all aware of Cantr's t-shirts?
http://cantr.spreadshirt.com/
They've been available for around 5 years, at no-profit cost.
The quality doesn't seem very good though; the words on the one I have started deteriorating after a short time. I can look into other vendors.

I like this one :-) ... Did we progress this any further? That's indeed nice for a flier, as it catches the eye, which long sentences cannot ...

I don't believe we ever something with that, but we should!
Attention Cantrians! We want to launch a 5000th day campaign, but we need some help. We need to create a banner image or flier to advertise it, and come up with good wordage. Any suggestions? Would anyone like to work on this?

I can help if someone cooperates with me. At least about the style, background etc.

I can help give suggestions. How it should be is open though. Probably some green.

I know what I'm suggesting is a bit late for day 5000, but have you ever considered sending out a newsletter to the emails of all lapsed accounts, provided those emails remain on file? Something like - hey guys, we're celebrating day 5000 of Cantr, and here are some of the highlights and changes you might have missed, so now is as good a time as any to dive back into the game.

This! Sending a email out to old accounts will bring at least some players back. And some are better then none. I found a old email in an old account and now I am back. I am glad I was reminded just by me being lazy and never deleting a email.
