Your Cantr Theme Song or Soundtrack

Postby Genevieve » Thu Jul 09, 2009 8:36 pm

Hey, so I'm driving along and switch from Brian Tracey to Music & Lyrics and realized that one of these songs fits my favorite charrie's feelings right now to a 'T' :) So then I wondered, does anyone but me relate songs to their charries? I'll share more about that song when I'm not illegally driving with my knees and typing on my phone hahaha (yeah, I'm a Cali driver, what can I say?) but anyone else? Share!!!

Well fine, don't :p

Here is the song for one of my favorite characters, at least right now:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FV11fi1-I5Q

Okay, but it is really the first few lyrics that are really what I'm talking about, since that was just a clip from Music & Lyrics. On the soundtrack:

I'm starting to believe, boy
That this was meant to be, boy
Cause I believe in karma
Boy, do you believe in karma?

So forget about your past life
Cause this could be our last life
We're gonna reach nirvana
Boy, we're gonna be reach nirvana

Each time you put your lips to mine
Its like a taste of Buddha's delight
I see the gates of paradise
You're a taste of Buddha's delight
Tell me all your fantasies tonight
And I will make them happen
Cause I'm not satisfied if I dont get my Buddha's delight

Like sutta meditation
You give me elevation
Can you take me higher?
I wonder, can you take me higher?
I want a revalation and sweet salvation
and the eternal fire
Show me the eternal fire

And jic you were wondering, this has nothing to do with sex on the charries part -- just what she's FEELING ^_^ okay?

I've one song that reminds me one "special character" that a good amount of y'all know. He's the nicest guard type person but... not to bright. You can find the song here.

One of the lyrics that "stand out" and make me think of my character is..

"Q is for Cat"

In context this makes sense mind you.

The Morrowind theme song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PosKDKMW_w) is what I thought of when playing Cantr.

This for whatever reason reminds me of Cantr.

Also the lyrics, because they puzzled me:
Now we're apart,
though not through choice.
Do we stay mute?
Or raise our voice?

Morrowind is the one to play, Oblivion is to linear and limited.. And dang ti I was just thinking today if anyone ever got a character in mind when listening to music... I'll have to think of some good ones.. although "Hey There Delilah" is good for one of mine

agree.. I just find replay value and all the little secret tombs and legendary armor.. and the scamp to bring me back to play it again.. have played through both multiple times and adore Elderscrolls in general.. I just thing Morrowind is where its at if I had to pick one or the other

I have actually doubled the size of the Oblivion game folder with all the mods I downloaded. Now it crashes every once in a while, but its much more enjoyable.
- Every person lost in war is two too many.
- Respect comes from two sides and must be earned. Nobody has the right to it because of a title, sex, age, race or birth.
- What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
- I believe in True Love, do you?
