Moving away from the deck of a ship doesn't automatically cancel sailing. It's when there is nobody on deck when the sailing tick occurs that the ship will stop. So you can move to a cabin then back to the deck between sailing ticks and the ship will keep going.

Viktor's character was inside for more than one whole Cantr hour though, Millhouse, so a sailing tick would have passed.

sailing mid ocean full speed ahead, not docking. and I was inside the hold for more than 1 full cantr hour and am alone. the ship never stopped. I should try again on purpose and see if it works again or if it was a glitch that moment.

The system may have missed out on a sailing tick two days ago. I remember the game was stalled for a short time then, a page call took over 15 minutes. But i cannot be certain, i didn't have anyone sailing at that time.

Edit: the same just happened again on the 1:10 sailing tick. Definitely no progress this time! I have put the issue on the support form.
I think ...

so I fell asleep again ...
went in cabin 5438-0.21
came back on deck 5438-2.07

I think this happens because the daily resets happens around that particular sailing tick and it doesn't register a lack of crew at that time for some reason... which would be that very 1.10 tick Tiamo is missing sailing progress.... so.. since I'm mid ocean, I couldn't tell ya if I missed movement or not lol

Thanks for the updates, GreeK. I like the change to the Project Info screen.

Yes! I've wanted that for so long! When I first saw it though, because I was half-asleep, I thought something had loaded wrongly rather than it having been updated  A lovely surprise, thanks. Hopefully the character description page could get the same treatment at some point?

I like it too, however, custom descriptions still mess up the project screen layouts... viewtopic.php?f=3&t=26145#p534387

I'm bumping this thread and would encourage players to discuss or ask about implemented changes here. :D

Is it possible to discuss planned changes that have not yet been detailed anywhere? Or did I miss a thread?

Sure, you can discuss that here, though I can't guarantee that things I say informally may happen will actually happen.

Urgent question regarding rot changes!!!!!

"2. Instead of the current rot limited to food outside, rot will apply to all resources, regardless of location, including resources from canceled projects (this does not affect completed projects). This rot is slow and varies by resource, but is larger for large piles."

does this mean a pile of aluminum sitting in a locked storage room would rot?

what measures can characters in game do to stop this? do we have to build storage containers inside the room to store any and all resources to prevent rot?

please this is an urgent question.

finding out later could be game breaking.
