Peas according to...

Postby kinvoya » Thu Jun 23, 2005 6:06 pm

As requested topic split from: http://www.cantr.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5316&start=0

Ahoyhoy wrote:Wow you know this game is intense when people have actual debates on what the game is.

Yeah, well, these guys will debate whether a pea is round (sort of). :D

Ahoyhoy, (all innocently in the Suggestions for New Foods) How about peas? Yummy round peas. Yay!

Nick, "BUZZ. Wrong. Dried peas are wrinkled and therefore not technically round. And that is the 127th time someone has suggested peas.."

Hallucinating Farmer, "The cultivation of peas is oppressive to some third-world citizens."

West, "My new girlfriend loves peas. *sigh* Have I told you how pretty and smart she is? Also my char discovered and killed the first pea in Cantr."

Yo Yo, "I want to shoot me some friggin' peas!. Where's my in-game rifle?"

Pie, "Pea pie!"

Sociologist, "Wrinkled peas are clearly inferior and should be eliminated."

Gyrus, "Chars in the Turkish lands would be most appreciative of the peas" (We need more Turkish speaking chars).

Mr Floyd, "I could cook up some hippie pea soup in my camper van!" *toke*"

schme, "On my block people are kiled for their peas everyday."

Serenity, "If I recall correctly, the history of the conflict over peas in the SDK area is..." (10 paragraph history lesson follows)

Nitefyre, "Ranger John wrote a poem about Maily Yum and her appreciation of the roundness of peas. Let me quote it for you... (14 stanza poem follows)

kinvoya, "Arggg! *pulls out hair* I can't take it. Shoot me with a crossbow now, peas!!!".

   JKing. I love you all!

Disappointing that I didn't make that list...

But then, in yet another pointless topic, who cares?

:P

Note: Nick, you can say its a society simulator all you like... but unless the main page is changed so the first line isn't "Cantr II is an online role-playing game", then you're wrong. Well, not wrong... but it is an rpg, whether it is a society simulator or not.

Everyone feel free to add your own "The pea according to..." There are plenty more forum personalities to go through. Here, I'll do myself again.

kinvoya, "Many women have been deeply affected by childhood trauma caused by exposure to peas."

I'd be interested to see what mine is from your perspective.

Edit: Perhaps mine is: "We don't need no peas, they attract pirates and republicans."

Missy, "My husband is in town, we'll be discussing peas for several days. My chars will be less active than usual. :D "

Bran-Muffin, "*scowls* No discussing peas on the Capital Rules Forum. *throws peas at Crissy and Cherize* Blackrock Forest peas rule!!!"

It's better to do other people, I think. We don't see our own silliness as well as other people do. :D

Jos: We'll need more programming in order to put peas in.

Old School Cantr Players:

Cliff: Peas would not lead to the downfall of Lad. Would you all stop bitching about Lad. being so oppressive.

Mikey: Can you get high off of peas? I think I'm high now. I'm not sure though. Oh, and Lad. sucks.

Hunter: Pea wine. Oh and America sucks.
